I grew up in a small town in northwestern Oklahoma. I was pretty involved in church youth stuff in high school, and Wendell, my Youth Pastor, taught me how to play guitar. As soon as I could strum and sing at the same time I found myself helping out with the worship band. I fell in love with music and leading worship.
I feel a great call in my life to be involved in ministry, specifically worship ministry. I feel God has blessed me with gifts, and it brings me great joy to give those back to the Church. I am the worship leader at the River Oaks Community Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. I get to do what I love, I get to do it with people that I love, and we do it all for a God that we love.
